Vehit F. Nekibzade

Vehit F. Nekibzade graduated from Istanbul University Law Faculty in 1974. He was called to the Cyprus Turkish Bar Association in 1976 and thereafter established Nekibzade Advocates in the same year.
He was elected as mayor of Lefka in 1976 and re-elected in the following three consecutive terms until 1990. He was the president of Nicosia Bar Association from 1976 to 1979, member of the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association from 1979 to 1985 and president of the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association from 1985 to 1988. He was elected as the leader of Citrus Growers Association from 1976 to 1983.
He has held board memberships of European University of Lefka between the years of 1993-1995, 2003-2005 and 2014-2016. He is currently the leader of a major political party’s Lefka District Organisation and head of Lefka Trust.

Fadıl Nekibzade

Fadıl Nekibzade graduated from University of Warwick Law Faculty with LLB Hons in 2004. Completed his BVC in BPP Law School. He attended The Middle Temple and became a non-practicing Barrister at Law in 2005. He graduated with merit from University College London with an LLM in Maritime Law in 2006.
He worked abroad in various law firms mainly in the area of shipping finance and completed his solicitor training program in the UK. He was registered as a solicitor in 2010. He is registered on the Rolls of Solicitors however does not practice as a solicitor since he has returned to North Cyprus.
He has been practicing law as an advocate in North Cyprus since 2011. He has established the Nicosia Branch of Nekibzade Advocates in 2013. He also accepts clients to represent in Cyprus British Sovereign Base Area since 2019.
